Spent New Years in...Oklahoma?! Yup! Spent it there with the best people in the whole world and had the time of my life! Didn't have to get all dolled up or anything.
But seriously though, I had a great time surrounded by loves and good friends (both old and new). Here's to 2012 being better than 2011. Much happiness and success to all <3

Happy Holidays everyone!
I LOVE this of year. Everyone's in good spirits, looking forward to gatherings with friends and family. And one of my favorite things, vacation! I love knowing that I can sleep in late and try and catch up with the people I ove because they have a few days off too.
Went out and picked up a tree last weekend. It's not huge, but it was nice and full and smelled delicious, still does! I put a lot of pink and silver ornaments on it this year; though i left the last row bare so Chovy didn't knock them off the tree and break them, and so he couldn't choke on any of the hooks.
I'm finishing the last of my shopping today. All big presents have been bought, packed and are under the tree or have been sent out. I cannot wait until Sunday. Other than that, It's been pretty quiet. Had a girls night out a few nights ago, went hiking in the hills, took Chovy to the beach, ate breakfast in bed everyday this week. I'm a happy girl, and easy to please :).
Though I still haven't spoken to most of you, I'd like to wish you all an amazing, happy holiday. Celebrate safely! <3

It's almost 9pm and I'm sitting on a bed in a hotel, listening to rain hit the window, accompanying The Gay Blades "Oh Shot" playing on my laptop. Today was a good day. Started it off with a nice long run very early in the morning. Just me, my iPod and a few people out, starting their day. This run is one of my favorite parts of the day because it allows me to get my body in motion and lets me be one with my thoughts and one with the Earth; feet hitting the ground, heart beating, blood pumping..its such a rush. I had been so 'in the zone' this morning that I wound up running further than I had planned to and wound up in some territory I wasn't familiar with. I literally just turned around and followed my footsteps back.
With my life so chaotic at times, I love having my routine. After my jog, I went back to the hotel, took a long, hot shower, ordered my breakfast: grilled chicken breast and a spinach omelete (its good protein) and a tall glass of orange juice and checked my email. If things go according to plan, this is how everyday starts off for me. The last...maybe 2 weeks have been anything but 'according to plan'. We taped and did promo for this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (which airs next week by the way). I didn't do as much TV press as Adriana and some of the other girls, but I contributed how I could.
The fashion show was alot of fun, as it is every year. It was a little different for me, a little bittersweet. This time last year when I walked the runway for the VSFS, I was dating Adam and had found 4 very good friends in James, Mickey, Matt and Jesse. They were all front and center, cheering me on. This year, the boys were all there, but it was different. Adam and I weren't together and they were onstage as the entertainment. Anytime I see any of the guys its a good time. Adam and I had ended things on good terms and remained friends afterwards, so it was really exciting to see him. There's been alot of rumors/speculation over the last month or so about him and I. We were both featured on the cover of Vogue Russia and did a shoot together, mixing Rock & Roll and Fashion. It was tastefully done but intimate as far as some of the poses go. Then there was last week's show and then I went to the AMA's to support the boys, which turned out to be a good thing because they wound up winning!!! They totally deserve it, and Hands All Over is an amazing album.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't still have feelings for Adam. When we met in Vegas early last year, it was an instant attraction and we hit off right away. Our relationship was one of the best I'd ever been in. To feel so strongly for someone and to value their relationship so greatly, to lose that over a breakup, it would've been upsetting.
...Now that I've got entirely off track, As I was saying, today was a good day. Had my routine, decided to climb back into bed. Took some calls, returned some emails, caught up with my family and friends a little bit, took a little nap. I love days like these, mostly because I don't get them as much as I'd like to. Another thing I love about off days is people watching. I love to goto restaurants with either outdoor seating or big windows. I always ask for a window table or to be seated outside just so I can take in my surrounding, get the sounds and smells of whichever city I happen to be in. You can learn alot about a person just by watching them.
Sometimes I like to make up a whole story about them, depending on how long I can watch them for. Like a person on their phone and constantly checking their watch; I pretend that they're a spy...or a CEO of a big company and late to a very important meeting. I have an interesting imagination.
This time tomorrow, I'll be back in Los Angeles and laying on my own couch or sitting in my backyard with my pup, drinking a margarita, flipping through a magazine, barefoot and enjoying whats left of the evening sun.
What are you looking forward to?
